bracken boy 584
heavyweights dont always need boxing ability power of punch helps, people can say this and that but if tysons connects how do u know they not guna fall, he did great with what he had,

stabba 10,745
mike tyson was a shit boxer who relied on his power and like most boxers piked his fights Shit..then you contradict yourself by saying he was in your top 3 behind Holyfield and Lewis
Floyd17586 454
In that era yes he was but what other heavyweights was there bruno lol.
gonetoearth 5,144
You laugh at bruno , big frank would be more than a match for any current challanger and would not blame an injured toe !!M!
s.e.s.k.u 1,893
iron mike was the reason i watched boxing as a kid, my grandad used to tape me his fights on his sky lol. he did fight some bums but my god he could put them away! i just loved his style - awesome . and lets not forget the guy came from the gutter and when his mentor and role model died he went off the rails and eventually the lack of discipline, training, poor lifestyle and his state of mind never enabled him to become the fighter and champion he could have become if he'd have lived like an athlete and stayed away from playboy lifestyle? as for comparing fighters from different era's i think its hard to say who would bethe best, styles make fights eg hearns couldnt beat hagler, hagler couldnt put duran away but hearns then wipes the floor with duran? all great fighters in the same era. Floyd17586 454
Tufty there wasnt any decent boxers in his era just my opinion. Iv never rated mike tyson he hand picked hes fights by fighting the likes of bruno who to me wasnt a good boxer.when he fought lewis he got beaten and when he fought holyfield he couldnt handle the pressure. And bit him.when he was at his best he fought bums and won.in this era weve got furey price both klitchkos.and by the way iv not conterdicted myself saying je was in the top 3 as there was no1. Else and he was the best of a bad bunch.so if you dont like my opinions dont read them thats upto you.

Not sure how you can say Tyson handpicked his fights he fought what was out there....which admittedly wasnt much in comparison to other eras......i think he was probably the most overated heavyweight in history, but he didnt duck anyone.
