Well I'll be totally honest, I'm 33 and never cooked a thing in my whole life, I've never had to. However I thought it about time I learned, so I recently enrolled in a cookery course, and I tell

I don't do all the cooking but I do cook, will try my hand at anything. I'm doing keema naan's and a curry today, I've always cooked but lately I've grown real fond of it and I do get complimented on

I love cooking

Been a bit lazy recently but especially as we get in to autumn I like making stews etc I don't them in bulk and freeze them down but our bloody freezer has broken so we've only got the crappy little one under the fridge.

Definitely doing a big game pie this year

Me mum was a cook, though to be fair we never learned much from her until leaving home, which I did age 19. Had to sort meself out and I did, then went back to me mum to add to my learning, love cooking still....

What I have found over the years is that most girls leaving home ain't got a fecking clue, usually with the one signature dish of spag bol or lasanger (an I fecking hate those!). Fewer still want to pick it up either and much prefer conveinence cooking.

My missus gets home from work about half 5 and I dont get in until gone 7, but shes quite lazy and spends most of the time on the sofa watching telly - so I usually end up doing the cooking (and washing up) (and cleaning.. lol).

One of my best buys was a slow cooker from Tescos for a tenner the other year - i bung all sorts in that - curry, stew, rabbit, gammon, beef, anything really - leave it on 6 or 7 hours and hey presto instant dinner. Also love doing pies, spag bols, chilli, shepherds pie, lasagne. Find it all really easy to do and every now and then I try a new recipe from the old cook book - makes it fun.

Unfortunately the missus isnt a fan of game else id be cooking more rabbit & pigeon, but still have it every now & then when shes not about.

My culinary excellence goes about as far as grilled steak and mash or grilled sausages and pasta or a tin of mackeral in sauce with bread and some fruit........... basically if it takes me more than 20 mins it's a treat! lol. The most effort I'll put in to a meal would be a good rabbit stew, but that'll last a few meals anyway. And yeah, I have to cook it my fecking self!
