health and saftey red tape

hi all need some advice.

 

on my rough shoot as part of our lease agreement we are to give a pre shoot talk.

 

i notice on the part were it says what to do in an emeragncy it was left blank. with a not in pen to one side saying:

 

Signal for emergencies

 

It is advised that every one carries there mobile phone, if you need assistance is needed you do not have your phone fire shots into the air in a safe direction until help arrives.

 

If you notice someone has fallen behind/ missing, shooting is to stop and everyone is to double back in search of the missing person.

 

is this suitable or has any one got any sujestions??? we also do not carry radios as there are so many members and a diffrent amount every week and diffrent faces so at time the radios will be at someones house that is not shooting.. and plus not every one could have a radio anyway..

Would it be a good idea for everyone to carry a whistle to blow instead of having to fire shots.. BASC would also be able to advise..
