Gaz_1989 9,539
Ever heard of driving the headlands?? I guess not...ever heard of driving stubbles?? I guess not...Who in gods name has the right to tell me i should walk or pack in?? Not one of you slating my post has experienced driving the land in a civilised manner i'll bet...Course theres numpties out there ripping fields to shit..so what? if it directley affects you then have a say..if it dont then dont comment on nowt you know nowt about. Some of the worst scenarios ive come across have been from day walkers and lampers on foot so the door swings both ways.. Ive done both for a number of years yet none of you have ever come across me on a nightly jaunt..wonder why eh ? probably coz your all too busy typing on here i'll bet. If you meet me then judge me..till then dont tell me how to go about my business...regards stabba I havent slated your post stabba, i asked how driving fields can be respectful or civilised. I havent said you should pack in either. And of course it directly affects me, its in the papers that a farmer has been run over by people hunting with dogs, so all the lads at work assume thats what i do, and ultimately its gonna feck it for everyone even more. There are numptys in all aspects of working dogs, wether daytime moochers, lampers on foot, or lamping from motors but to me we need to be keeping as low profile as possible and causing zero issue to farmers. All the best. Gaz

Carraghs Gem 1,675
Does anyone know how the farmer is doing? Is he ok or is he seriously injured?
Giro 2,648
Its difficult for farmers. The police are slow to respond, the damage is done and the offenders have left the scene.. If they comfront them, they risk getting a kicking. If the farmer comes out on top, these lads know where he lives and come back and torch his barn or kill his stock.. Folk driving the land on one of my permisions took all the mans gates off, to reduce chances of getting blocked in.. left a pile of dead hares and a injured dog.. Lucky I have had my ground for years and the farmer knows I had nothing to do with this, however no wonder is so hard for lads to get a foot in the door when this shit goes on! Yeah of course farmers want a shooter to blast a load of hares, they would rather that than gangs of lads driving cars on there land. If folk are condoning whats happened here, they really need to give there head shake.
Giro 2,648
I would not ran a man over full stop.. If I was where I was not suposed to be, I would be saying how sorry I was and that I was leaving. I would never drive a feild. I dont have permission to do it and to be honest, I emagine I prefer the way I do it on foot. I have thought of getting a quad for ferreting but the thought of chasing game in a jeep or scooby dose not intrest me. Olde Farmer Joe likey thought they would stop, like any normal human being. They are a shower of c**ts and want jailed for what they have done.. They could of killed a man for few hares its discraceful. I dont think some of the guys on here even think it was that bad, its this type of mentality thats bringing the nation down. These Jeremy Kyle chavs, need to learn some morals. Incidents like this could bring people to reveiw sentencing for breches of the hunting act as they feel the punishment is not enough, as its not detering people. Lamping lad would you run some over because you were scared to face upto crimes you have commited ??
