Very good write up Sirius,I too only started using the trammel nets last year but my god are they deadly, I've have several now and I've got some only about 6 yards long on 2 poles ideal for sticking through hedges/ditches and the likes, anyway mate very good post and smart pics, ATVB rabbitcatcher!

great write up with some tidy pics too. i was ferreting in a field with alpacas in the other day, dont they make some strange fecking noises i wandered what the feck it was when i first herd some of them lol.

What can i say, but bloody awesome! Nice dogs, and good work. Reading your replys to posts i could tell you knew what you were doing, but reading this and seeing the piccies confirms it! Excellent read, and please keep posting reports.

Cheers the dogs did well but the ferrets really worked the hardest for those rabbits

Yes I will try be trying it out alot more this season, but I have booked another, I was impressed how well they work. Cant see them being that good on big thick hedges but ideal for open hillside places.

Weird beasts aren't they, they were pretty inquisitive and its all experience for the young dog. Didn't hear them make any noises, but then again I am glad they didnt come on the warrens what with all the nets out.

Funny creatures them Alpacas...I tell yer what..1st time you hear 1 at night and dont know what it is..you will never forget. . . what a strange noise they make.
