Jack Russel X Patterdale

Recommended Posts

I'm waiting to go and see one of these little fellas, a 14 month old neutered male, only seen photos and a brief chat about him. What should I be looking for folks and any other advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation

If you've got the space and the patience then why not ey  , Have a look at the parents if you can, make sure he looks fit and is in good health.

I'm no expert like but this place is full of very knowledgeable people who'll point you in the right direction as far as what to look for, diet, health and any other questions you may have on working terriers.

I feel I've learnt plenty from my short stay here so far, best of luck to you with what ever decision you make.

I have a 15month old JRT X PATT bitch. What a little firery little thing she is with a heart of a lion. Anything that moves (with fur or feathers)she is game for it :D Gets on great with my Lurcher dog. She has habit of barking at other dogs what ever size they are. When your out in the field she is head down and arse up and away she goes. Here is a couple of pics.

Cool or what :clapping: , been let down with the cross at the last minute, I think they'd been tempted by a cash offer which was obviously more important than the mutt getting a good home for life :wallbash: :wallbash: .

Anyway, I'll keep looking, you never know, getting a lurcher cross as well ready to cope with the invasion of the "long ears" that will get more intense as our trees grow :icon_eek: .

Thanks for the reply and good pics of two cracking dogs there with you :clapping: .

All the best.......Al :drink:
