coldweld 65 Posted November 11, 2012 Report Share Posted November 11, 2012 Was told today to expect loads of Ash to be felled, if woods contain ash dieback all the ash tree's have to be felled and either burnt or buried, at the expense of the land owner ! with no government compensation. I was told by a woodland owner he was going to fell all the Ash in his wood while it still had a comercial value. Not good news british woodland Quote Link to post

lilvixen 26 Posted November 11, 2012 Report Share Posted November 11, 2012 Depends where you are in the country, east Anglia it is already endemic and there's bugger all can be done although that won't be officially admitted yet. My boss has planted nearly million trees in last 15 years, probably about 30% ash if not more. I haven't seen a plantation on here that hasn't got it. Quote Link to post
