cannae whack a decent black GSD...

Similar to a saluki then

Lurchers/Terriers/Spaniles/Gun dog breeds/ And a pure collie....     I like a good gaurd dog but dont have the time or need for one now. But would own one but then again id only need a little yappi

I love staffs would be the only pet dog I would have or maybe a wee rough coated terrier that could do a bit of bushing as well. Don't think theres a better pet that a good healthy staff. Lurchers also make good pets when mine retire thats what way they will spend the rest of their days.

Next dog I have is going to be a lurcher with a good dash of collie in it and if I ever get round to getting a shotgun licence I'll be getting a springer spaniel.. Wouldn't be without my little JRT, so I think I'll always have one about the house from now on

I would love to be able to have one of these

but since i cant ,i.m happy with my lurchers terriers and bull breeds

They're impossible to domesticate, watched a program about them a few years back. Awesome pack hunters, by far the most successful canine when it comes to completing a hunt...:thumbs:

I remember seeing a documentary on them years back, I am sure that it said something like they can run at 40kmh for over 7km at a time

probably the same one I saw. They've got something like a 90% average with their catch rate when they initialise a hunt..

Biologically probably yes, bet they would be pretty skittish and nervy though
