Kennel Box Size

Im just looking at ordering my lurcher a new kennel, shes in the wooden shed type at the moment with 8' run and 4' kennel section. Im going to upgrade her to the galv bar type run with a free standing kennel inside, ready for when i get my pup next year, they will both be in the same set up then.

 

Will a 32" x 23" kennel by 28" tall be big enough for a 24" lurcher?

 

Im guessing it will be plenty, i dont want to go too big as its only for sleeping and smaller will stay warmer.

your on the right lines there thats how i have mine set up, for 2 ,and a small kennel is warmer in winter, ive got small sleeping kennels and big runs

When you come over I can show you the run I've just built if you like it we could pop over to my mate and pick up a couple of galvanised panel any size you want and get an idea of what I've done for the cub it all insulated. If you haven't got a trailer I'll take them back to yours and we could have a look for a rabbit after? That if you like it though.

Just can't decide wether to put a partitioned 8x6 shed between the 2 runs or wether to have runs side by side with a kennel box inside each.

Ive got a similar setup , Ive a 8 by 6 shed partitioned down the middle and a dog sleeps on either side , they each have a run off the side of the bedroom , they have a 12ft L by 12 ft W by 6ft H square
