Malt 379
we only sing when we are winning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! theres no shame in losing to a strong argentinian side. the better side on the day won. there are a top class side as they proved in the 'tri nations'. They were nothing special, far too much is being made of Argentina IMO.. We were pathetic, that was the worst performance I've ever seen in a Wales rugby match and I've sat through some shite over the years! We didn't break their line once, and when I think of some of the matches against the greatest teams over the years, we've been beaten by far, far better but we have still managed to entertain and give a glimmer if hope with at least one or two moments of brilliance even when on the end of a hiding. I didn't see a single moment that got me up and shouting today, and that's a first. We were too flat in attack, leaderless, devoid of invention at all times and unmotivated. Rhys Preistland for one should never have another game at 10 IMO, we've got far better.. I hate loosing at the best of times, but unless its against England, I can usually accept it with good grace. Today was different.. If this is the measure of Rob Howley's leadership while Gatland is in charge of the Lions, they can keep it.. We are the current 6 nations grand slam championship winners and RWC semi finalists and to play like we did today is not acceptable, especially at home.. It will be interesting to see if anything changes when Gatland comes back to take over for the biggest matches during these tests... Well played England today, good win. Hard luck Ireland and good luck Scotland tomorrow!
TOMO 26,175
Good honest post that malt,,, whilst I think the argies are often underrated and folk don't give them enough credit,,, they were average at best yesterday and Wales were shite. I know you guys will always support who England are playing,,but it's not the same for me ,, I genraly want our home nations to win, as I did yesterday,,,,,, until about half way through,,, when I just thought they don't deserve to pull something out the bag. I just hope you fellas up your game ,, because lets be honest it's not the same beating a poor team,, much sooner watch two good teams playing.

johnny boy68 11,726
Watched the first half then turned it off and went to Iceland(the shop lol) I knew what was going to happen, for me to turn a Welsh rugby match off is sacrilige but I did yesterday. Watched it all then last night and wish I hadn't. Rob Howley is a real bad choice as coach in Gatlands absence, trys to play too safe, in the tight we're just not strong enough and when we tried to play out wide we just looked lost and devoid of any ideas. Can't see anything improving for us through these autumn internationals, we may just pip Samoa but we'll not live with the Aussies without our French based players and even with a full squad we're not going to trouble the All Blacks. We need to use these tests to try a few things like bringing Biggar in at 10, Tupuric as got to play more often we won 3 turnovers yesterday and Tupuric won 2 of them and he was only on the field 10 minutes. Warburton is a great player but since the 6 nations he's not looked with it at all, I think that Warburton excels when Lydiate plays as he hasn't got to take the first up tackle as much and can get in for the turnover. Without Jonathan Davies our midfield looks very weak especially in defence imo, Scott Williams is a good player but him and Roberts look lost together, we've got 2 of the biggest wingers in the game with pace but they're taking the ball flat all the time and always into contact, North and Cuthbert both need space to use there pace they're easy to play against with such a flat back line. Cymru Am Byth !!!

It's very rare I criticise the Wales rugby team so heavily, I usually love them win loose or draw but I nearly fell out of love for the first time yesterday.. The biggest buzz I got from that match was when the crowd let their feelings known after the final whistle.. That reaction is not like us and I hope the players and staff take note the next time the team walk out onto that sacred pitch...
