Good day out on airfield

Got asked to do some rabbit control on a model plane flying field we have been doing a bit with the rim fire and air rifle during the summer to try and keep the numbers down this small field has one massive warren one side of the field and some smaller ones on the other we asked would it be poss to get the long grass nettles etc mowed down off the smaller ones which the flying club quickly obliged

There was about 5 small to medium warrens to ferret, when we got there it was a bit overcast but thankfully the sun came out soon after we set the ferrets to work including some of this years kitts they all worked well

We ended the day with 20 good healthy rabbits and lost 2 so we had a very nice day and thankfully no hold ups or signs of mixy on this place although there is a lot of mixy about down hear in sussex at the moment

Yes brimmer he is a russell he's a good little helper and yes pip the action did get a bit hectic at times but it was great fun
