Ferret mad Dave 65 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 As some of you may know I rescued a hob yesterday and as I was checking him over again today I noticed his k9 teeth didn't seem right as I have never seen teeth snipped I don't know how much they snip is it just the tip of the teeth or what ? They don't look like they have snapped or out if any one could help it would be great it's got my stumped Quote Link to post
ferret100 47 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 Sometimes they can just chip the bottom of the canines themselves, the tooth is generally a bit yellower than the others. Doesn't cause any issue unless the pulp is exposed, imagine if he can eat ok then no need to worry. Quote Link to post
Guest norseman Posted November 10, 2012 Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 i had a thread up a few months back on snipped teeth dave, as i was unsure that the jill i had bought had snipped teeth or not. but to my horror the guy i got her from had snipped her teeth, they are'nt completely gone but they are flat edged and dark yellow. she still has a great life, (i know people might think im cruel working her) but she loves working and can still bite HARD haha atb Quote Link to post
