hi guys.

me and malc were invited down to my other buttys (bobs) permission for the night, i have been out with bob many times so i thought i would leave my bitch behind and just carry the rabbits while malc and bob runs their dogs,

well met up with malc and headed to bobs house, picked up bob and his dog blue and headed only 5 mile to his permission, bob had rang the farm we normally lamp earlier but they told him that they was out that night shooting foxes, so with that in mind we headed to another of his permissions,

driving up the farm track we saw rabbits running accross the road and we new we was in for a decent night, out of the car and wellies on we headed to the first field, malc had a quick shine and seen a few tight to the hedges, we gave blue the first run and as he got in to pull pelt he yelped with pain, we pulled him back in and there was nothing obvious wrong, the mud on the field was thick so we thought he may have just pulled a muscle or something, we went on through that field in to another where murph was picking them up easy enough, with a few around my neck we headed accross a road and in to a larger field, put the lamp on and malc said to me, "its like cats eyes on the m5", there was rabbits everywhere, bob headed right and me and malc headed left, there was a lot of rabbits squatting tight and obviously hadnt seen the lamp before, soon as they ran they was like rockets heading to the same place every time, we had a good bit of sport in this field and now with a few in the bag we decided to give the dogs a rest and a bit of a drink.

10 mins later we was on the move again, with only one field left we headed to the car,

 

bob decided to rest his dog up as he wasnt running right after his first run. so with us heading to the next permission which was surrounding his house we decided to retire his dog blue and give his other dog a few runs,

parked up on his drive and headed to the fields, with in seconds malcs dog was over the gate and giving chase, nailed it, by that point there was 10 rabbits in the bag, so malc said 5 for 15, covered a few fields and managed 2 more, not bad considering they get gate lamped a lot.

back to the car and we headed to another of bobs permissions, where last week me and bob had taken 16 rabbits and considering the conditions we done well.. , with this in mind we was hoping for a good end to the night,

it didnt end this way but we did bag a few more rabbits which got our total to 16

 

murph with 14.... blue with 1..... ben with 2

got the camera out the car and turned it on,,, DEAD as the rabbits,,, gutted ,,,, but did get photos on my i phone, but not sure how to get them on to here.

it was a realy good night vin bob is a real character and top bloke it was nice to get murph out as i havent been out much so hes getting fat and unfit been working away it was good to catch up with me old butt carl as well hope your doin well and dogs and ferts are ok to atb malc
