I was talking to a chap just the other day I was told of him winning the cocker championships back in the nintys so I seen a few pics on his wall of him with a cocker so I asked was it [bANNED TEXT] did you win the cocker championships? He replied yes! I won it with a bitch. So I asked why ain't you still trailing? He went on to tell me he made up another dog but he was struggling to get runs getting put out for the dog squeaking! Then he was hard mouthed and basically the dog hadn't done any wrong it was just the click!!! Driving a genuine dog man out so Jess that made my mind up about the so called curruption in the field trial world please excuse some of the spelling!!!!!. I witnessed first hand a lab squeaking Go through while others went out round by round The squeaking was audible to the judges The lab went on to win the owner walked up to receive thg trophy to her delight It was now a champion three a true three timer , at the bar the judge was getting told how well the dog had done and did he feel proud that he had bred it. !!!!!!!! Regards Trialing, Gonetoearth. .....It will certainly test your strength of character and resilience..but having a good dog with the education to match goes along way. And yes dogs certainly win that you may think should not,but remember the same judge doesn't supervise every trial and there are lots to be entered... As iam not a field trailing person and as my peers said nothing why would i , if the gatherd Trialing people are happy with there chosen sport to be conducted in this manner who is a spectator with no interest in the trailing to voice his opinion some people are best left to carry on. Oh and being the bennifactor on many a gun dog not deemed to be of the calibre to grace the dizzy hight ill keep my opinion to here lol Quote Link to post
