99th ftch

Recommended Posts

I can only apologise for the misleading post i made to start this thread. It was NOT openshaws 99th champion at all it was only his 98th!. Please forgive my inaccurate description. Today he has made up his 99th champion by winning for the second time in 4 days with Hollydrive Kurt to make the dog a International FTCH.

Mick Walsh, the dogs owner, may have sent the dog over for Ian to run over here. Or mick Walsh has sold the dog to Opie, it depends who you listen to.

Cheers for that...

It just got my attention when I heard Kurt was over here...supposed to be a right machine by all accounts.....

Cheers again..

The field trailing game is corrupt if you face fits and your in the click you win. Not to say oppenshaw is not a great trainer having seen him many times. But that game is a licence to print money for some !!!!

Absolutely correct mate I know a fair few guys in the game including A panel judges and its the biggest old school network there is .......

Usually the people that say it is corrupt are the people that cannot train a dog to the standard required to win a trial.
. Yeh and they people who make that statement are usually the one's trying to get in the click. , seen many trials ovet the years seen many many true trial winners seen as many get the nod above the real winner just to get made up. Your right though never trained a gundog in my life but then again never had too. Lol.

. I was talking to a chap just the other day I was told of him winning the cocker championships back in the nintys so I seen a few pics on his wall of him with a cocker so I asked was it [BANNED TEXT] did you win the cocker championships? He replied yes! I won it with a bitch. So I asked why ain't you still trailing? He went on to tell me he made up another dog but he was struggling to get runs getting put out for the dog squeaking! Then he was hard mouthed and basically the dog hadn't done any wrong it was just the click!!! Driving a genuine dog man out so Jess that made my mind up about the so called curruption in the field trial world please excuse some of the spelling!!!!!
