first time i ever went lamping!! sent the dog off on a long run (deerhoundxgreyhound) missed the rabbit! so come running back at full speed but sadly no-one had told me that i needed to turn the lamp off!! the dog was getting closer and closer!!!! showed no sign of slowing down!! then bang into my right leg!! spent the next 6 weeks in pot!! but got me out of school lol, did not go again till i was 30 lol!!!

Ive had allsorts happen sent my dog down the beam and he's hit a hedgehog like a freight train. Worse one was when he was on a rabbit and the f****r ran it towards me next thing i know 70lb of bull cross has run into me !!

some crackers there folks,had a few last one was bent down to pick terrs up to get theme over fence half way back up 30 inch dh gh smacks me on side of the head and a was down seeing stars for few minutes,best bit was there was no body there on that ocassion

Had a very good lamping dog, lent my uncle it when his dog was lame.

took it out with another lad to show him how good this dog was and he wouldnt chase.

he let him off the lead and wouldnt jump in the van, the following night when i was back off night shift we went out and the dog was back to his self and

Dog was pulling like hell at the slip, so I let him off sure that he could see it and the daft twat steamed towards it, jinked, ran straight past it about a foot to the right and disappeared into the darkness!

ive a funny one , i took my big dog out deer grey x saluki bull grey out on the lamp he ran a bunny and caught it , great then he he ran another which came toward me , the rabbit ran between my legs and my dog who is 29 inch tts followed he flipped me on my arse felt like my nuts had been blown off by a 12 bore he still got the bunny lol so i sat in the field with the dog for a while until i felt capable of standing up lol not funny at the time but funny looking back my cousin thought it was brilliant , had a right laugh

Out lamping one night down the south lreland with few mates had my old bitch with me the one in the picture to the left.The bitch has a thing off when she off the lead off jumping into peoples boots or cars because she thinks she going for a hunt.Any how the lads and myself had goods night lamping and where heading back to the car.You have to walk the big lane but there was car parked and the closer we got the more you could smell the green and the lads in car having a laugh as you would full off the green.The old bitch was off the lead and must be stopping to have a drink because as soon as we walk past the car l seen her running past and right though the back window.Have near seen a car empty so quick in my life and one lads running shout ingwerewolf lmbo.l tell you this now it was everyman for them selfs leaving that car and the old bitch poping her head out off the window looking at me still makes me laugh to day

Dog saw me leave the house via the back door with the lamp one night and managed to escape out the front door somehow. He thought I was off down the fields without him and off he went. By the time I caught him up he was trotting down the lane about a half mile away.. I only went up the shed with the lamp to get a fecking screwdriver!
