Remembrance Sunday

Recommended Posts

I watched the whole service on BBC and I admit it made me feel very emotional. The people who gave EVERYTHING - their yesterdays and tomorrows. The people badly injured and their attitude to their injuries - the way they just get on with life as best they can. I openly cried when they read out that letter from the guardsman to his parents.

The freedom we enjoy in this country has been won at the ultimate cost to these men and women.

Everything you read in the papers these days is about who has been offended by what. Stupid name calling, rights for this, rights for that.

Whingers - get your priorities right!

It's been a while since 11/11 has been on a Sunday. I trust everyone will take 2 minutes out of their busy lives at 11.00 Sunday morning to remember the fallen. I certainly will, wherever I happen to

show some respect for the fallen, and take your pathetic squabbles to pms
