BSA R10 your Opinion please.

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone :bye:

Ive been away from airguns for a while after losing my permission due to it being sold and the new owners did not want me anymore. I have always been an Air arms man and I sold my beloved s410 when it was put out of use, anyway I have bagged a new permission on a local farm with plenty of bunnys and pigeons and now im in the market for a new gun :boogy: !

I have taken a liking for the R10! Now I have been reading about the mk1 problems and the improved mk2 and despite all the bad press I have not been put off! as of yet.

Today I have been offered a BSA r10 mk1 1.77 with lots of extras! The gun was serviced 2 months ago by BSA and comes with

mk2 magazine

3x tins of pellets

sling&studs

bipod

sliencer

gun slip

and he has just sent it back to BSA to have a mk2 upgrade.

I would love to hear your opinions on the rifle and how much you would expect to pay for a setup like this.

cheers

Matt

Hi matt

Not sure on price

I have a .22 mk2 r10

No problems at all mate with the rifle itself I think bsa sorted out the problems

,but the pellets make a huge difference to what poundage it delivers.

It's very accurate and the shot count is great

Good luck

Regards

Steve

Yer one of the things that has drawn me to the r10 is the looks of the rifle! it realy is a stunner.

The seller will be able to provide the receipt when it returns from BSA & the price is very good also comes with a choice of 2 scopes so its pretty much a no brainer for me! hopfully pics will follow in the next few weeks:)
