jamie mc 168
A teenager has been reported by police over claims that deer were hunted illegally on a Glasgow golf course. Officers recovered three deer skulls and two illegal snares in a raid on a house in Swallow Gardens, Knightswood, at about 9am on Wednesday. Strathclyde Police said they acted on allegations that dogs were being used for illegal deer hunting on Knightswood Golf Course. A 19-year-old man was later charged with contravening the Protection of Wildlife Mammals Act 2002 and the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Two dogs found on the property, a Bull Lurcher and a Silica Greyhound, were not removed by officers. It is understood the courts will decide the animals' fate at a later date. Quote Link to post
