Makes me laugh the way these Celtic fans are jumping about singing .......fair do,s it was a great one off result as is any giant killing act.........but these are the fans that tell everyone they are a massive club so why act all shocked jumpng for joy when you beat another massive club............

 

If Accrington Stanley beat Man Utd in the third round of the Fa Cup their fans would go nuts because a little tiny club has beat a massive club so thats understandable................but if Celtic are such a big club why the crazed hysteria that they beat Barcelona

 

They are a massive club in terms of the fan base and potential fanbase in America and Europe due to the Irish connection....nobody is claiming we're the best team, the downside is we're stuck in Scotland in a piss poor league with little revenue. It's always good to give the big guns a bloody nose now and again.....do you think for a moment that any of the top clubs in the EPL wouldn't be crowing if they beat Barca.

I will also say well done a very good achievement. as far as the result goes. but celtic have a long way to go before they could compete at that level. on a regular basis. and i hate to admit it but lennon got his tactics spot on. and his players did there individual jobs well. the main thing for celtic to do is get into the knock out stages. then it will be easier to asses how they are doing. scottish football is in turmoil and this is a shot in the arm young watt was a steal at fifty grand. and is due a run in the first team

Young Watt looks a player and no mistake,i could only watch the first half before i had to go to work but that has to be one of the hoops best ever wins,up there with 1967 and when they beat Leeds home and away in reaching the final in 1970,i dont think some peeps in England realise how big the old firm are,im not saying great teams im on about size of club,imo only United top them in the UK,Rangers got 48 thousand on the other week ffs!,Celtic took 000 to seville for the final v Porto,2 huge clubs .
