WorkingBullandTerrier 132
He is a nice guy, and he's put a fair amout of work into Darby. It's obvious he cares for the dog, so if he decides he wants her back she'll be on her way. Until then we will hunt. That's very good of you. I'd love to hear how she works out in your neck of the woods! Beautiful dog. 1 Quote Link to post

ratkilla 35
Why would you use an english bull when you already have the ultimate bull breed here on your home turf? Quote Link to post
General lee 979
Pit bulls aren't the begin all and end all of the bull breeds staffs and ebt have something to offer as well Quote Link to post
jawn 449
I didn't breed the dog, and I don't regularly hunt bulldogs of any kind. This dog needed someone to hunt her, and I had a need for a dog like her. I'll take an Eli EBT cross on also in the not too distant future. Plus the guy that owned Darby will be able to get her back if he decides he wants to. It wasn't a difficult decision. Quote Link to post
rc1 21
good luck with her jawn.I was really wanting to see her get bred to the Hoss dog. Its still do able. Hes in oklahoma... Quote Link to post
jawn 449
I'll make you a deal. I'll gladly breed her to the Hoss dog. If you can hook me up with a couple of rolls of fresh Copenhagen Black. They don't sell it here in Texas and unfortunately it's my favorite.lol Quote Link to post

Jawn what in your opinion does an ebt add to the cross ?.....the last bulldog i owned i was asked by a young fella with an ebt to breed it to his bitch and i have to admit i did contemplate it long and hard but in the end i just couldnt justify doing it.... it felt like i was simply giving a hand out to a breed that didnt deserve it and knew i couldnt live with myself for compromising what i knew to be right and proper......i just wonder what folk who have done the cross think it could add. 1 Quote Link to post
dean1 46
one of the best pit dogs in the uk had ebt in it .... but then if you was i.t.k back in the 70s / 80s you would already know this gnasher ! Edited November 17, 2012 by dean1 1 Quote Link to post
VOON 1,317
a lot of terrier breeders in ireland would have crossed english bull into terriers to spice it up, and they preferred it to staff crosses, seem it to add more fire and cuter dogs to hunt as well Quote Link to post
