skycat 6,173
They're a nice litter and look well, but I would never have just left a bitch with someone else to supervise the mating! 2 Quote Link to post

blacknight 111
They're a nice litter and look well, but I would never have just left a bitch with someone else to supervise the mating! left the bitch as he lives so far away just fort it would be better to do it this way, if i ever bread a lurcher again in the future definitely would not do it the same way, just glad the pups are doing alright, cheers skycat Quote Link to post
skycat 6,173
I'd sooner have a Deer/Grey cross than the straight Grey cross any day: better feet, probably a steadier temperament, more biddable, more robust: I could go on! Look forward to seeing how they develop: useful in the right hands no doubt. 2 Quote Link to post

jukel123 7,957
I would prefer the deerhound as the sire too, as long as he was a proven working dog which does the job he was bred for. Quote Link to post
Chid 6,493
are you going to have the smooth pups dna tested to prove parentage to potenial owners???? Quote Link to post
