The great thing about this episode of VHTV is it shows the basics of how the knives are produced and my appreciation of the art increases

I have a basic Whitby Fox type knife (Identical to the one Si uses in his pellet splitting shots (they were purchased together)).

I also have a Haller knife that Si and Laura gave me as a gift (im almost scared to use it, as it is so sentimental to me).

I have so much wanted to make my own knife, this video is an inspiration as per Scuba's Instructtion.

What a lovely film! That's one of the joys of this life. to see such craftsmen hand-making knives with such care and skill. And not forgetting the good old catty!

That was very interesting to watch. I would never have thaught about making knives from files but it all makes great sense. the craftmanship is amazing and the knives look fantastic. Wish you the very best.
