A dig on your jack is a nice do if you are on a handy one. I know plenty of places id go back to on my own, but prefer digging with at least 1 other good lad.

i was taking the michael,......................always pays to go with a mate . if the side comes in on a deep dig the man at the bottom will more than likely be killed.

then you get some easy ones that can be dealt with on your own

Times have changed and many of those lost dogs of the past would've been found with the technology we have available to us but like has already been stated it does sometimes pay to listen to advice of elders.

 

I'd say 90% of my work is done on my own, good help is welcomed every time but the small group who's company I'm happy in have to go to work, shopping with their missus, busy posting on THL or other lame excuses :laugh: so they can't always be there and I'd sooner be on my own than just have anybody tagging along.

As i get older and wiser i wouldn't take on some of the places i used to on my own, but i did and do enjoy my own company. The only good thing about company is the craic, theres nothing like ripping the piss out of each other all day and in my experience the Welsh are world title holders in piss taking, they take it to a whole different level.
