just to add a twist - i have a raider 10 in 22 and a new hw97kt in 177 .. my 97 in 177 holds the most rabbit kills by a long margin , for me mr average, the easy flat pellet flight and extra speed seems to do the job better , better when at night also when i have a nitesite fitted when distance is hard to judge .

 

isnt a 22 at 12flb and a 177 at 12 ftb the same smack down energy ??

Well, I took your advice johnnypro and today, I've just bought a Weihrauch HW97KT in .177 flavour, to compliment my Weihrauch HW77 .22...!

i am going to give the TX one more chance at the SHS this year,if things dont go better than 5th place ,i was also thinking of a HW97KT .177 just for competition.

there are alot of TX's 7 97's on the HFT circuit,so it goes to show that they are a competition rated spring rifle,my problem is consistency.as i take my hunting more seriously than my HFT, its a good day out

HI simon you will not be disapointed mate there a cracking rifle im going to get another one but the 97k sport stock as i love thease rifles and i feel like some things missing in my gun cabbinet there hitting power is amazing iv never had a one in 177 allways in 22 but have fired one at the range and was well happy with the way it perforemed when you get it bud get some one to put the photos on so we can have a look at it your very jelouse freind jimmy mac :toast: Edited November 10, 2012 by bigmac 97kt
