my pup went strainght to the lead no problem but there all different try taking it out where there are no people and get her to follow you with out the lead then after a short time clip on the lead she should then want to follow you and be used to hope this helps

Start off just clipping the lead on in the house, let the dog get used to having the lead hanging from it, some dogs take a while to get used to the lead stay patient it wont quicken the process if the dog knows you are getting stressed out

Trotters advice is right put a old lead or a piece of rope on her collar about 3 foot long let her pull it round for a few days she will be used tto the pressure then she will walk on the lead she will pull bat get her out of that habit asap by changing direction when she pulls and say heel

Putting a lead on a pup to walk round the garden is ok but it doesn't teach the pup that your in control when it's on a lead which is the point.

Take the pup for a walk when it stops give the pup a pull while calling it will probably keep stopping and whining every couple of steps just keep it up for a few days not too much at a time it will soon learn atb
