lurcher330 2,297
I got a phone call from a lad yesterday, his terrier didn't seem right the last few weeks, he brought him to the vet and after a blood test the vet said it had TB, I never heard of it before and would it effect people and the other dogs it has been in contact with Quote Link to post

lurcher330 2,297
Paulus,I thought he was acting the bollox with me ,but no he was dead serious , Where he lives backs out on to alot of farm land and the odd time the dog will wander out of the yard and go missing for the day and come back full of muck,as if it had been to ground wouldn't call the dog an out and out worker more of a pet that does a small bit,but it's a strange one Edited November 3, 2012 by lurcher330 1 Quote Link to post
paulus 26
i have no idea as to the scientific theory behind cross species infections but it has been proven that high badger populations go hand in hand with levels of TB found in cattle so it must be possible in certain species and certain infections/viruses Quote Link to post
