id get it back to your local gunshop in the morning mate as its brand new they should replace it or sort it , id avoid messing too much yourself incase they try and say its down to you , they tryed that on with me , had to have a growl at um before they replaced it

in future I wouldn't be leaving it in the kitchen, thats the one room in house thats bound to have falling and rising temperatures due to cooking, temperatures act differently on your gun/air etc, making it the worst place to store it, better off either in wardrobe/cabinet or under your bed

Great news! Something & nothing, and even if your in the know, and it's an easy job to fix, sometimes it can all go t*ts up, and they'll pin it on you, and wave a bill at you instead of a warranty job.
