That's quiet a tirade there matey, simple question.........what about the many hundreds of decent working dog owners who are un-able to obtain permission?, are their dogs simply to rot in their kennel

Not everyone has permission,i knocked doors for years in the Dales and got zilch,so does that mean i cannot take advantage,at times,of a little recreation for me and the mutt?,i now have enough permis

Sounds like "The Dales" is now some magical, mythical place for rabbits, as "The Fens" is for hares, to some of the younger, less experienced members !! LO !! :thumbs:

lol, run game? im not talking about running any game mate im talking about going somewhere different for a change and considering we've never been before thought we'd try it out? do u need permission just to walk about lol?

 

If your only looking to take your dog for a walk, google tourist information for the yorkshire dales national park.

Theres a quarry just before threshfield, Swindon quarry, go past the fences that say no access, that's just to keep idiots out, and tell the quarry security guards that Joel sent you, this is genuine now, some good land plenty of rabbs, and them quarry folk are sound as! good luck! :)

you tried, yous can stop taking the piss now its pathetic, cant even put a simple post on this shit anymore without getting greif of 50 yr old c**ts thinking they know it all

 

no seriously mate, follow my directions above and you will be in dream land, i just dont have the time to get the rabbits myself, ive had a pint or 2 with the security staff and they said just wander on whenever!

One way in and out there,several prosecutions a year around that quarry,the quarry owns very little of the land worth working a dog on,the farmers that own the rest are sick of lurchermen,especially lampers.If you want to lamp the Dales then use some smarts,park in a town or village were the motor won,t stand out,take a walk with the dogs,drop everything off with a minder,back to the motor and retreive the goods.Or take a day knocking doors and take the risk factor out of the equation.

luke h, why the dales and how far you want to travel from your home town of durham ?

never been myself and it looks great just for mooching about, and im not bothered lol its just day out with the dogs and something different

or their is a place near bolton abbey, called beamsley, ask for a young lad called Curly, make sure you swear at him first for the banter, and he should give you a good point in the right direction!
