I am from Liverpool, and you have got more chance of knitting fog than getting permission around merseyside. Spread out a little to cheshire etc, and just keep trying. I have had dogs for around 20yrs and its only in the last 7-8yrs the regular permission has come in. Just present yourself in the right manner and like the lads have said start by asking for ferreting permission first. Dont turn up at the farms mob handed with your dog. I would also dress accordingly(no trackys or trainees ) your best hunting attire will suffice. And finally good luck in your search mate. cheers wex.

permission takes a long time to come.....theres no rush when it comes to gaining trust..... it took me years to get the places i have now,.....farmers and keepers are the people to ask.....but, please be warned, if you are young, you will be knocked back a great many times... good luck.

Cracking stuff.. .. when i read post's like this i just wish i was closer sometimes to take the odd chosen ones for a walk .. even if they was no kill's on the night/day the young lad would still get the info he require's...

i was lucky enough to get took out by wex on here, most weekends he would take me out lamping
