joe14 98
What do you use on the inside of your hutches lads? Ive varnished mine with exterior varnish and on the floor I use lino so it can be wiped out, piss easy to clean and stops wood from rotting with all pee ( I use litter trays though so that doesnt happen anyway) Edited to add if you use varnish dont put your ferrets in for a few days until its aired out! Tug 168
I used garage floor paint, very hardwearing. There's a place near us that does clearance lines through it's trade counter so cost me £6 for two tins! Quote Link to post
Peter Leemooch 160
what's wrong with just coating the floor with fence paint and throwing shavings down whatsoever the advantage with garage floor paint or wotever Quote Link to post
Tug 168
what's wrong with just coating the floor with fence paint and throwing shavings down whatsoever the advantage with garage floor paint or wotever Because its easier to clean when they smear shit up the wall as they are occasionally inclined to do. Plus it's easier to disinfect during a deep clean, and the paint doesn't lift off with moisture. Quote Link to post
