any dog will lamp, mark and retrieve ,some are better than others and some suit people better than others .....

 

if it was me id choose a good lurcher x lurcher with a good dose of collie or/and bedlington in the mix

 

choose one you like and train it to the best of your ability and you shouldnt go far wrong
