zini 1,939
Hi lads and lasses, I have just received this message to my Facebook account from Mr Cliff Ennis, one of the co founders of Treats4BritishTroops charity. The charity that we supported for The Rise of the Verminators DVD and at the last 2 The Hunting Life meets. It was sent to me but mentions and pertains to all you that helped support the charity in any way that you did. Please read. I have to thank Simon Pittaway and his bunch of merry men for their superb support. Recently they have produced a shooting DVD, the proceeds of which have been donated to Treats4BritishTroops. Approximately £1100.00 .... utterly amazing. Simon, thank you very much mate, it is so very much appreciated. 3 Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Second that Tony. A huge vote of thanks to Si. Davy and Chaz for what they put into these meets. Great to know the lads will be having a bit more to cheer them up in their ration packs than Hard Tack biscuit, steamed treacle sponge pud, bully beef and chicken supreme! (Or have K-packs changed since my day?) A very worthy cause lads eh? And some great times for us! Bravo everyone who supported these meets. gurtwurz 792
Great stuff, well done to si,chas and davy for organising the meets, and to every one of the attendees for digging deep. Simon, rat packs are somewhat different these days mate-one of my bootnecks gave me a carrier bag of stuff he didn't want anymore, including sweet tangy salmon pasta, tuna surprise, thai curry and all sorts of lovely nosh with not a biscuit brown in sight! Luckily darryl was able to supply me with a years worth-thanks again mate! Cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
