Air gun storage

Where do people tend to keep their sub 12 ft/lb air rifles? I know the law requires that you take "reason precautions to prevent somebody under the age of 18 from gaining unauthorised access to it" Do people think in the loft with a trigger lock is enough? Or would more protection be needed? Ammo is easily locked away speratley in a cash tin, but any advice on the storage of the rifle itself would be a great help

Depends if you have under 18's in the house. If you do, the trigger lock will be fine. You don't have to lock airgun ammo away as it's only lead, nothing combustible there.

In my house i have a boiler room above the stairs.Its been converted into my gun room.I have made self and put safey lock on the doors will get some pictures up later to day atb

i dont think trigger locks comply as the rifles can be removed with the locks on them if you buy a safe make sure itts deep enough for scoped rifles or like me you will be reselling the bloody thing lol

don't put it in the lofted as its always cold and sometimes damp

Mine are locked a way in a gun cabbinet and the ammo in my safe as some one cud get your rifle and ammo and bobs your uncle better to be safe than sorry atvbmac
