Si I'd like to do something for you mate.   Especially if I can demonstrate just how effectively accurate a real top notch spring rifle can be.   FAC or sub-12 is all the same to me. You know wha

Yeah the net in saturated with girly pcp vids but what I love about your channel is the fact you get your twangy springer out si ;-)

I hope you continue to do springer vids, as on a selfish note that's where my passion is! I'll probably never buy a pcp again!

id love to see si vs davy vs pianoman shooting groups or long range small targets in a slightly competitive but just a laugh type scenario...

springers are the way to go... any body can sshoot a pcp but it takes time effort and good technique to master your spring rifle..

edit any tips and help from these top marksmen is always something i like to hear, so i can try and improve my own shooting. :)

Yep I agree Mawders, springers are where my true love is in regards to air rifles now I must say.

Pcps do have a huge part in what I do though especially for night time vermin control where if needed I have a fast second shot at the ready.

Pcps are also better for static hunting in my opinion in open areas as the bipod is a great accuracy aid unless you use a shooting cushion with the springer in which case the springer is equally as good unless you have more than 1 target to shoot in quick succession.

Don't agree with Mawders with the Quote all PCP 's are easy, WTF  i've got a Brand New Theoben TTR 1 in .25 Cal shooting at 11.02 ft lbs would like to see Him shoot that

Will be learning the Parabolic Trajectory of it on Sunday at the Shooting Club when i Zero it in.

Alas, there would be no competition there Skot I'm afraid buddy.

I have shot with and seen Simon shoot his springer on 3 occasions now. Twice up at his permission and once in Nottingham at my meet.

His skills with a springer far over shadow mine mate I'm afraid, but I was only saying to Davy last weekend down at the caravan that I would love to really test myself against Simon now with my HW97 in a friendly shoot.

I got told I was too competitive by Davy and told to shut up :icon_redface::laugh: .

Simon is a true marksman, someone who talks the talk but defo walks the walk. He's a gent too and a good friend.

Davy my dear friend I cannot think of a more worthy opponent on the field of honour. Your challenge is graciously accepted. PM sent to you!

As I am not afraid to get publicly slaughtered, I am not fazed by going out to shoot against anyone with skills!

It would be an amazing experience dear lad and yes, I don't want a "Who-can-piss-furthest-with the-biggest dick contest, but a clean, fair demonstration of what spring piston air rifles are capable of nowadays and how we can get the best out of them with a bit of knowledge and a lot of practice. It will make a great film I think and show the rest of the lads here just what we are like with a rifle, you and I.

I'll have my HW77, HW80, TX200 rifle and TX200HC to show what these amazing rifles are all about. So no Chinese junks here then!

And yes Miles you will see shooting you will tell your grandchildren of....And mightily bored they'll be!

So let's arrange it.

Si, your suggestion of the Nottingham meet is good to go with me. Or anywhere. And I would consider it an honour to shoot and hunt with you and Davy. That would make a Hell of a hunting film.

Love and good happiness stuff to all here.
