Had to carry him over 5 big fields and fences to get to the car. I was fooked! why carry a dead dog back to car you should have gone to car get a spade and put it under the turf atb 1 Quote Link to post

Tiny 7 1,694
I like lamping on my own. Just me and the mutt off into the night I do lamp alot with mates also. But its only ever me and him a dog and a lamp a peice, Staying together sometimes and splitting up when you can or doing both sides of the hedge. Iv done the 3/4s at a time and it just does my head in far too many people far too many dogs and not enough rabbits your lucky the dogs get 3/4 runs a peice over the night. Not for me Quote Link to post
Chid 6,495
i lamp alone, very rarely do i go out with anyone else , i prefer alone as theres less noice made more runs for your one dog , if you fall over and hurt yourself its simple have a phone on you and ring 112 , if the dog gets hurt you just have to get on and carry it home , (carried mine one night 2 nearly 3 miles when he collapsed and i had a 17 amp battery and game in the bag if it came down to it id dump the lamp and battery and any game caught to get my dog home ... 2 Quote Link to post
