Millet 4,497 Posted November 15, 2012 Report Share Posted November 15, 2012 The last time i seen one that big was when my dad used to take us down the fish quay where he bought prawn's of the trawler's..that will of been in the early 's..these day's the biggest shore caught one's i have heard of are rarley over 3lb.. Wullz 408 Posted November 16, 2012 Report Share Posted November 16, 2012 I remember my auld uncle coming back from a trip off the Gantocks and he hung the cod by the gills on top of the metal clothes pole and its tail was bent over on the ground....well over 30 lbs......need to head to Norway for fish like that now.....
