I better sort something out for lamping. Tried and disliked heat holders, kept slipping down and wore holes in them in no time Tried long smartwool mountaineering socks, better but expensive, holed them too. Tried battery heated insoles Great if you like to be followed around by a vague whiff or burning, shite if you expect anything else. Currently on Dickies from TK Maxx (temporary measure, hole in one of them now too ) Reckon I'd prefer wool, avoiding cotton like the plague as it holds onto moisture and COLD.
