Warm socks...

Recommended Posts

My toes are about to fall off and fly South for the Winter. Reckon my circulation is fecked. I better sort something out for lamping.

Tried and disliked heat holders, kept slipping down and wore holes in them in no time

Tried long smartwool mountaineering :icon_eek: socks, better but expensive, holed them too.

Tried battery heated insoles  Great if you like to be followed around by a vague whiff or burning, shite if you expect anything else.

Currently on Dickies from TK Maxx (temporary measure, hole in one of them now too  )

Reckon I'd prefer wool, avoiding cotton like the plague as it holds onto moisture and COLD.

Did get new insoles for the wellies which should help

Suggestions on a postcard puh-lease :cray:

TRY MONKEY SOCKS THEY WORK FOR ME

How about you change your socks more often, instead of wearing them till they crawl off?

Ideally yeah, but we've too much bog here, often out night after night they'd never get a chance to dry, wellingtons it is I'm afraid.
