I've got a 99 Peugeot van that so far has not let me down apart from small minor repairs I was wary of buying a Peugeot but its been ok pug lump (and electrics) seem ok, only time you will get major problems is when you have to remove the injectors, they weld themselves in, last one we did we hung the bloody thing by the injector using the two post ramp and a bit of inventing things, after 2 days of drowning it in penetrating oil it came out, with the price of diesel, the cost of buying the car in the first place and the lack of power i can`t understand why everyone buys diesels, the f9q 1.9 will only just crack 30mpg, the 2.4 petrol easily tops that and when power is needed, theres plenty
irishnut 297
try using mr sheen furniture polish instead of penetrating fluid. no joking, it is the business for releasing seized parts. got this tip from a lad who rebuild brake cylinders
Blakloks 5
Is that the v6? Didn't think a petrol would out do a diesel for mph
