Mick C. 229
Wouldnt surprise me if the dog became a good pot filler. Some dogs dont look the part. Yet i seen enough to know that they can keep the whole street fed. Dogs to big dogs to small etc. Got one here- on the heavy side 25 tts. Not my first choice for what i had in mind - ferreting mooching and yet now i wouldnt like to leave home without him. Sometimes its whats going on under that skull that matters 2 Quote Link to post
neems 2,406
I like the look of him,do you think he will fill out more? might not be a bad thing if he does because he'd look nothing like a lurcher then. he is strong built now and is 68lb. pups that i have had and seen in the past finish growing around about the 9 months and then fill out, i may be wrong? i'd be quite surprised if a dog of that size was at its full adult weight by 9 months. I think bigger dogs generally take a bit longer to mature, but even with that aside 9 months is still really young. Quote Link to post

ATB about 39" + 120lbs haven't got a clue mate lol but like I said i do know bigger dogs usually take a bit longer to mature, and even with smaller dogs 9 months usually isn't adult size. but maybe your dog despite being big has just matured really quickly? do you know anyone with experience with the x?
