Irish 78
Honest opinion.............ugly. How can a working dog be "ugly" if the dog works to its ability which is what you want and need. Who gives a f////k if it wont win any beauty contests. Its a strange trait on these forums that dogs seem to have to be rosette winners. Total nonsense. 1 Quote Link to post

Its a strange trait on these forums that dogs seem to have to be rosette winners. Total nonsense. people on other threads I have started have said with his shape he couldn't never be a runner, I've always kept fast looking racey dogs but a mate if mine said his best dog didn't look like a Lurcher in any way. And with the dog he's got now and the signs my pups showing there may be some thing in it. If it was all about looks and speed we wouldn't x anything with greyhounds.atb 3 Quote Link to post

Born Hunter 17,774
Looking at the picture again, the dogs not much heavier than a first cross collie grey! By the time the dog has fully matured at 18month and in hard condition his conformation will show through better and probably look a different animal. If nothing else he looks robust! No offence mate but that dog is 28tts and is way heavier than any 1st x collie/grey I've ever seen. No offence taken. I was refering more to the dogs build than height, there are some very heavy 1st cross collie greys out there. Doesn't matter a shite what we think anyway. Quote Link to post

FUJI 17,327
Well for what it's worth I really like the look of the dog, once he's finely tuned this time next year I think people will see a real tidy animal...looks mean f**k all unless your a model haha, some of the smartest looking dogs ain't worth a toss and vice versa..best of luck with the dog although I don't think you will need any..ATB Andy 2 Quote Link to post
