milo 74
Well sat we went upto ross on wye,for some flying over the ferrets again, the wind was very strong and it was hard for rico to get onto anything tidy, the bunnies didnt want to bolt into the open and they just ran the bloody hedgaes again, Today i went to a new farm/estate near myself and i just thought id walk the boundries just to see the layout of the land and see where the rabbit holes where, the river that runs alongside looks good for fish, wide and fast in places and some small rapids ! il be flicking a spinner in there next season i know, well rico was following on tidy and then away he goes "hes fast now" bang straight into a big fat crow feeding on some corn thats been cut what a result chuffed to bitts i never expected to have anything today especially on a new farm, the farmer was happy he just drilled the field over the weekend...... 1 Quote Link to post

charlie caller 3,654
Keep at it mate he will get to grips with it (no pun intended) what I would do mate, until he binds on long enough, is to use the dummy bunny at the end of every session,so he is ending with a kill (in his head) as he grabs the lure, give it a good tugging so that he has to bind tightly to get to the chick or whatever, I know its well frustrating mate, but he is 99% there, keep at it and he will do it I promise you,but deffo finish with the lure if he dont catch one,it will stop him getting disheartned. 1 Quote Link to post
