hutchey 147
Hi, I've had my rim for a few months now and love it. i bought a trigger kit for it but somehow we think it got thrown out with the tiny padded envelope it came in. Now i'm just wondering whether its worth ordering another or has anyone adjusted the original, what are peoples thoughts that have changed kit? I find it a little snatchy sometimes (probably doing the novice thing and pulling too fast, not squeezing continuously or looking up from the scope a fraction early. Thoughts very welcome. Thanks Quote Link to post
iana 25
Definately fit the kit!!! I've fitted one to my 455 and the difference is incredible. Your groupings will come right down. If you get the kit with the brass shroud to take up the creep take the extra time and fit that as well. Only takes 15 mins! After you've fitted the kit just remember to check that a sharp Jult will not set the trigger when loaded. Quote Link to post
hutchey 147
guess i'm best taking my scope off for that test then? Quote Link to post
FLATTOP 4,445
I fitted one on my CZ452 and a big difference i think standard trigger is a 5 pound pull and with the kit i could have gone down to 2 but i settled for 3 pound when i take my shot i only use the tip of my finger and i dont look up from the scope until i see the quarry go down' go for it excellent modification. hutchey 147
cheers, another one on the way! best not lose this one then. Quote Link to post
iana 25
Remember to take care when knocking the two pins out. Support the trigger block or it could be a costly mistake!!! The second pin only gets partially knocked through to allow the sleeve to fit over. Quote Link to post
hutchey 147
thanks, i'll remember that Quote Link to post

hutchey 147
just a thought, when i push the pins out a bit they will lose the rolled edge that keeps them in place. i doubt they will just fall out but how to ensure there is no movement in them again? drop of supergue?
