hillbilly boy 109 Posted October 30, 2012 Report Share Posted October 30, 2012 Ive got a 7 month old bitch from mike hunts and marks showing all the signs she is gonna be a good dog got a couple of mates with dogs from mike dogs great to work really quiet around house and pens but different animal in the fields high prey drive and will work all day long Quote Link to post

rabbitcatcher 1 287 Posted November 2, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 2, 2012 Cheers Paul sound like your well happy, I've spoke to mike and I like what he had to say about the dogs I havnt had a whippet before as I don't like the look of the roachey backed frail looking types but like I say mikes look better put together and could handle more work , I've currently got a second genaration collie greyhound out of typp ratchers arry and my pals bitch, but I'm really fancying a whippet or whippet cross as all I do is rabbiting so think it would be a good choice, what's the price of mikes pups if you don't mind me asking, cheers adam Quote Link to post

He's been head strong, with a high drive etc, and so has taken a while to polish the obediance off, but he is a very good hunter, good ferreting dog, works the lamp, takes fur and feather.
