GEOFF.223 83 Posted October 28, 2012 Report Share Posted October 28, 2012 I have been looking around for a nice simple hunting scope with a fairly simple hold over reticle. and on a budget! so i finaly decided on a redfield mad by leupold lifetime guarantee its got a range finding reticle which cover .223 up to 600yards. uttings have them for £170 and £10 delivery on sale i managed to import it from Texas for £115. i just ask the shop to send marked as a gift and the said yea no problems 9 working days later it arrived and im very impressed with the scope for the money. its got excellent eye relief, marked internal adjustment knobs, reticle is easy on the eye and its very light so im happy the shop i used was johnnysals.com and they take paypal . 1 Quote Link to post

Well done, why should you buy in rip off Britain, if you can get it cheaper elsewhere, I imported two scopes from the US at different intervals, the first came through no probs, the second one the customs got thier grubby hands on it. After paying the taxes and a rip off fee to the post office to release it I was still better off importing. Enjoy your new scope 1 Quote Link to post

GEOFF.223 83 Posted November 3, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 3, 2012 i ask the guy in America wat is the best way to send so u defiantly went have to pay any charges, he said get someone who is vat registered/self employed preferably someone in sales and he will send it as a sample to his further business and he would also send a proof of sample/gift email explaining its a gift to help promote future sale to the u.k. which in the case they try and charge u you can show your into sales and it was a sample gift to promote the product very simple as long as u know someone who is a sales man and wat registered. also slot of shop went take the risk in sending as a gift if there a paper trail (paypal) Quote Link to post
