J Darcy 5,871
Spring /Summer is the most important time of the year. It is the time when all the birds and animals breed and replenish their stocks, ensuring that we can continue to harvest them the following year and for many years to come....Should be a good year for rabbits as there is quite a lot about. only another couple of months now.... mad al 146
Well DS, I have to agree with you on this one . Not only with the seasons but also on Mr. Daniels . On our recent "sortie" to Bulgaria, half the bottle on the way out (31/2 hr flight) and the other half was used to wash my medication down for a few mornings Thinking back, we spent more in Bristol Airport Departure Lounge in two hours than we did in seven days in Bulgaria Feck it!, you're a long time gone Take care my friend.........Al

mooster 1
Glad this thread has been raised.I've been thinking this a lot lately but been too scared to say to anyone as we are all supposed to love the summer! I cope by going spearfishing in the summer.A good way to burn of my hunting/stalking instinct until the summer ends.

Guest MOLLY
I love the summer, the long lazy nights, you can go out anytime to walk the dogs, not ruled by times of darkness. Its daylight when the alarm goes off for work so its easier to get out of bed. You get to see much more wildlife and flora. You are going out with your dogs to look at and enjoy nature instead of hunt it. The doors are always open and the dogs are always lying outside in the sun getting fat and lazy enjoying their time off. Pottering in the garden. People are generally happier and in more pleasant moods (except on here ) I absolutley love the winter for hunting....and thats all, hate the cold, hate the damp, hate the snow, hate cleaning the fire out everyday, hate my garden dying, hate the darkness when im not out with the dogs. MOLL.
