Jacket for dog

Why don't you just put a heat lamp in the kennel ? That's what I do pal ! No point feeding a dog right spending time money and effort to keep them fit ! When they just sit in the kennel freezing there knackers off not for me mate ? Rather just put the heat lamp when it's cold

I considered a heat lamp and ran electric to kennels but a couple of things put me off...

1) Its light for the dog all night. No darkness.

2) They must really feel the chill when it switches off.

3) Once you've started putting it on (i.e. Now) it's not really fair to go a night without it until it starts warming up which is probably March time so it could be on for 6 months of the year?

I spent £40 on one of those fleece coats and lined her kennel with kingspan.

She was toasty the other night when it froze over outside.
