It's the only PCP I like the look of.

A lot of beautiful, classical hunting rifle cues in it's design. Nice walnut stock that hides that bloody hideous air cylinder and from what I've seen, it is an accurate a sporting rifle as pcp's get.

If PCPs were my thing, this is the one I would go for. As it is, my Weihrauch and Air Arms spring rifles deliver looks, proper heft and genuine accuracy without diving bottles and pumps and limiting shots per fill!

hey daz, are you getting rid of the long series ? i did ask on facebook lol

No mate keeping it as its a belter almost as quite as the Nutshot, Plus it matches the

look of the Rapid, Also the TTR 1 is in big boy cal so Mods would be difficult to find unless a nutty comes up in that Cal

Daz my dear friend you know I admire a man of principle...if not his guns.

I wouldn't buy these as they do not appeal to me, it's true. But that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them. I'm sure they shoot superbly well; and in your hands they'll be deadly.

Best wishes mate.

Some Theoben Rapids of various models on racks in dealers around the country. They are being snapped up at a rate of knots though - I know one shop sold out all his Theoben stock in two days following the announcement.

I wouldn't give up on the rifles just because the owner has run away to America (where Theoben are still going strong and selling their rifles starting at $1800)

I'm confident in the Rapid anyway and the Lads on the forum's will soon sort out any problems with spares and repairs also someone will start Rapids back up sooner

or Later, Just feel for the Lad's that can't get a Rapid in the Mean time, As i'm gonna Saviour My two babys even more now.  :D;)

Ye, I love my mfr. With 280cc bottle in 177 I should be getting about 260 shots give or take , and its just as accurate as the rest of the pcps iv shot. The long series is for my mates mk2 , I wonder if he be able to get one now with everything up in the air. Atb

New, probably not, unless he can find one in a shop smewhere that hasn't already been snapped up.

From the USA, no problem, production never stopped over there - be more expensive though. That is why the UK was closed, we are just a nuisance market for most makers. USA shooters are happy to stump $1800 for a Rapid (£1100 :icon_eek: ) and we were complaining about them at £750. Used Rapids will become much more sought after and like you, people will hang on to them, so to prize them out of peoples hands you will have to pay more. Supply and demand - a legendary rifle, thats for sure. Glad my .20, Bucketboy silenced mk1 is on song. Fabulous machine.
