Rabbit Skins

Recommended Posts

None of the above will cure a rabbit skin mate.

Drying out will literally....well....dry it.

Salting just helps to dry the skin out too.

Either method will only last a few weeks.

Have a look at these tanning kits if you're looking to do a few http://sportingcutlery.co.uk/tanning-kits/one-bath-tanning-systems/cp0502.html . We make them ourselves and they're really easy to use. If you only want to do one then give us a ring on the telephone number thats on the website. The company was started nearly 50 years ago by a taxidermist so what someone at our place can't tell you ain't worth knowing

If you don't want to go to the trouble of doing this then have a look on the same site for ready tanned rabbit skins. Tanned, supple, bobs your uncle. 6 quid posted.

Hope this helps
