so shes my first dog an i got her for lamping mainly shes only 6 weeks old an up to naw ive been very soft with her i have cats if that makes a diference lol id just like to kno wots the best way to bring her up as a good lamping/house dog ?

put whippets on the lamp in the search bar loads to read up on atb

all you need is a pinch of luck a spoon full of knowledge an ounce paticence a pound of love a bowl full of time and some good permission. leave on a low heat for about 12 months and you should have something to be proud of.

The longer you wait and the more basic training you do the better,if you want the dog to be a lamping dog I would start it lamping at over 12 months old and don't bother with the daytime mooching until after your pup has been trained on the lamp,recall can be an issue as whippets love to hunt up,be patient atb

When the Bitch is old enough, I would introduce her to Ferreting, teaches them to use their nose.

Although most will take to the lamp, they are not a one trick pony.
